The following comes from Dave Sparks in San Antonio, Texas. Dave writes "Mike here are a few more pics of my car (70cobraclone) as it came home from the body shop a couple months ago. I am in San Antonio Tx and should be cruising this summer if all goes well $$$$$$$. Car started out as a South Texas Low level sportroof. Factory calypso/black standard interior, 302,C4,AC,PS,Drum brake car. Has been upgraded to Big block specs using as many factory parts as possible, 4-speed,disc brakes,9-inch w/31 spline axles, body side molding removed and holes filled, cobra grille and stickers and Magnums, Body is pretty stock and clean looking except for the custom 3-1/2" cowl hood that fits like it was factory(Good body man), Motor is a solid roller cammed ,aluminum headed 477 CID BBF that should make a somewhat streetable 725 HP. It will eventually have 28x12.5 MT ET streets on 15x10 magnums when it is finished. 15x8's now, 15x7's in front I also have a correctly painted blacked out 70 Shaker hood with twist downs for it if I can hide the Victor and 1150 dominator under the shaker scoop somehow."
Thanks Dave, wow.. sounds like a torque monster! Very nice.... Thanks....
