"Hello, Great
site!! My son loves Torinos and had me do a search for some photos. Your
site was the best. We noticed the "Die Cast" section and
wondered why there wasn't the "Johnny Lightning" Starsky And
Hutch set. Anyway, he has them and we took a few photos of them with the
included Starsky and Hutch figures and backdrop. He would be really
pleased if you posted them and mentioned his name. Feel free to resize
them if needed. They are Hot Wheels scale (whatever that is -1:94??).
Thank you very much. Joe,
and my son Collin Sieracki
"Michael,
Ertl makes a series of 1:43 scale die-cast metal vehicles. The musclecar
series includes the 1970 Torino Cobra, and they are just the right size
to complement O-scale model trains.(O-scale is 1/4 inch per foot) MTH
Electric Trains offers three T Cobras or Boss Mustangs on a
flat-car...spanking NEW from the Ford factory (dream on) and off to
their destinations. My
other hobby is model trains; pictured here is an orange Torino Cobra
next to a big Pennsylvania RR Q2. The Q2 has 8,000 hp, but don't bet
against the Cobra in the quarter. Enjoy!

"Hi Mike,
I thought I would send
you a couple pics of my ERTL die cast 1970 Torino GT's. I have them each
in a model maker display case, where you can set up different scenes. I
chose the showroom scene with a gas pump and spot lights that actually
light up! I thought they turned out pretty cool! The pic of the white
1970 Torino GT was in the Jan-Feb 2002 Fairlaner.
Take care,
Tim Zagata Proud FCA
member.
P.S. Yes, these two
cars are spares which I allowed myself to take out of the box! LOL!!"
| "Mike,
you may want to setup a special Chuck page or something cause
i'm going to be sending you LOTS of Diecast SCALE Models that I
have and or have collected. I won't add the same ones that you
have already posted already... HA HA !
I'll start
with these ok! Thanks!

| "Hi
Mike, I thought I would share my die cast Torino collection. I
have Torinos ranging from 1969 to 1976. The 69 Talladega is by
Maisto. The 70 Torino Cobra is from ERTL. The Bill Elliott
NASCAR Torino is made by Action. The 72 is actually a plastic
kit by Jo-Han that I made to replicate my 72 Gran Torino sport
(guest cars section, PG.8). The 70 Torino GT is my newest piece.
It is a 'Diamond in the Rough' series car by ERTL. The 3 smaller
cars are all from Johnny Lightning. Eventually I would like to
get at least 1 Torino from each year built. Keep up the good
work Mike; this is without a doubt the best Torino site
around. Thanks, Scot Campbell Sarasota,

"Mike,
I tried to get the best shots/views of part of my Torino
Collection that are in my display cabinet that I could. They
might be a little fuzzy do to the fact that i'm new to working
this new Digital Camera.
No
need to post all of them if its too many. Also, no need to post
what I have just writen in this E-mail unless you want to.
Thanks! Chuck (aka Torino692dr)" |

"I
have not gotten these cars , but I found the Pictures and
thought you would like to add them to the die cast page. There
are suppose to be two other colors on the 76 Gran Torino Blue
and I think Gold or light brown metallic. All these are 1/18
scale. Paul Grala" |
