 "Mike, Please add the attached photos to your "Junk Yard Jewels" photo collection. They are early 1980's photos of the first two Torinos that I owned. They were the same color, I think it was grabber green metallic. Both had spent all of their years in Michigan and had plenty of rust and bondo. |
 My daily driver was a standard 1971 Torino 2 door with a 302-2bbl and automatic trans that I bought for $595.00 in March, 1980. The parts car was a 1971 Fastback 500 with a mid 1960's 390-2bbl and automatic trans that I bought for $75.00 in June, 1980. The previous owner told me that attempted to install the 390 only to discover that the block was too wide for the engine compartment. Sadly, they were both junked and crushed by the late 1980's.
