"This picture is not a trick. I actually have two 1971 Torino GT Convertibles now. Both are project cars. One of these has a 351C-4V and the other has a 351C-2V.

Thanks for hosting all of the other Torino pictures on your web site, because I'm taking great inspiration from seeing other great Torinos. Although my Torino GTs are basically twins right now I don't plan to "dress them alike" forever. The pictures of other cars and other paint schemes on your web pages are a great resource!

I still have my two four-door Torinos and I still love them. Neither of them needs any major work so it was about time I took a good project or two. I won't make any promises about how quickly I'll finish these projects but, at the rate I've been going lately, it might be faster than I expect. I look forward to the day when all the projects are complete, each car is fully roadworthy and I can send in a nice "Family Portrait" of them all.

Two years ago I wouldn't have thought it possible that I'd even find one Torino to enjoy. Now I run a "Torino Refuge," and your web site has given great encouragement. (In my refuge, a four-door Torino will never give up its life to donate parts to a two-door.) I can't promise perfection, but I can pledge that any Torino in my care will only be improved over time.

Finally I want to be clear about my two project cars. They will always be two cars. I'm not planning to combine the best parts of each one in order to make one remarkable convertible. When I'm finished, I'll still have two convertibles and they'll both be remarkable.
