"1969 Holman Moody Mercury Cyclone - I've attached some pics of a car I purchased this week. I was wondering if you might know who drove this car. It appears it was driven on the NASCAR circuit. It has a racing gas pedal, windshield clips (front and rear), 3 hood pins, trunk pins, a fire extinguisher mount up front, racing calculator in the dash, camber adjusters in the engine bay on top of the struts, etc. The sticker in the center bottom of the rear window shows two cars pointed toward each other with a banner above and below. The upper banner reads "Nascar". A racing muffler placard is in front of the left rear tire and "Mercury" is painted on both rear fenders. The most interesting aspect is "Competition Proven by Holman Moody" painted on both front fenders. If you could provide any information on this car it would be greatly appreciated.
