| Ford Nationals @ Carlisle 2004 |
| Mike, First off I am glad to see your car is back in
action and looking good. I have attached some of my pics from Ford
Nationals @ Carlisle 2004. Friday was sunny and nice. Saturday was another
rain soaked affair. This time I waited till noon on Saturday as the clouds
were supposed to break by then. Of course Miss Cleo would be a better
person to get the weather report from then the weather channel as it
rained all day and night past midnight and Sunday which was heralded as a
great weather day on Friday also disappointed delivering drizzle early and
cloud cover the rest of day. I did manage to snap a few pics for your site
and there were over 2200 cars & 43,000 people who attended this year so
over all it was a nice show. As bonus my car placed first in the 70 Torino
class which helped make the rain a little less of a bummer. I would love
to see more Torino's attend next year (It can't rain 3 years in a row
right?) so if any of your readers need help with finding a good local
hotel or need to know a few back ways in that do save time you are more
then welcome to give out my e-mail address.
